An idea is born
Sarah loves oat drink - but not the packaging waste or the lack of freshness. No alternative without a carton really convinces her. Her conclusion: A delicious barista oat drink without waste? It does not exist. As an engineer, she thinks to herself: There must be a better way!
The idea becomes a team
To turn her vision into reality, Sarah brings in reinforcements - Henrik for finance, Benjamin for process engineering and her sister Lisa for marketing. Together they found The Oater® - and began developing the oat drink of the future.
The first prototypes
Step by step, the team develops the first prototypes of The Oater® machine. Each iteration brings them closer to a functional solution. Despite numerous challenges, the conviction grows with every step: The idea will work.
The first big test
With a growing team, The Oater® launches the first pilot phase in Cologne. Pilot machines are installed in cafés and produce fresh oat drink directly on-site for the first time!
We are live on the market
With a launch in three cities, the team officially launches The Oater® Barista on the market. The launch events are a complete success and the response from the gastronomy scene is enthusiastic.
The scaling begins
The next generation of The Oater® machines is being mass-produced in NRW. With each machine, the team gets closer to its goal: making sustainable, fresh oat drink available everywhere. The Oater® is growing - and the journey has only just begun.
